I trained at RMIT from 1956 to 1959 as a fashion illustrator. Moving to Sunbury, I attended pottery classes, later joining Buttlejork Potters and have been exhibiting with them for over 30 years, attending workshops and participating in pit and raku firings.
Paloma Francis

SCULPTOR AND PAINTER
Paloma was born in Spain. With her parents, she migrated to Australia as a teenager.
She studied design and fashion at RMIT and has a love of textiles and fabrics.
Joy O’Connor
Joy started painting in the early 1980’s while living in Mauritius. Along with painters from various other countries, she attended classes by a well known American art teacher.
Jeanette Morton
I was born in Rochester but have lived and worked in Sunbury for many years.
I have painted for many years in all mediums, the majority now are watercolours. I have had lessons in oils and watercolour, attending many workshops with leading artists here and overseas.

Christine considers herself to be a Contemporary Artist. Her paintings depict a wide range of topics as well as a varied application of Mixed Media, ranging from: water colors, acrylics, pen and ink.

Deborah joined Sunbury Art Society in early 2001. Deb started painting with the Society and has shown to be a very enthusiastic learner.
Ken Winnell
Ken recently retired and took up painting as a hobby. He works mainly in water colour and loves painting detailed botanical subjects and birds for now.
Leianne Ivankovic

Born in Melbourne, began her career as an artist about 15 years ago. Inspired by her talented mother, Leianne has picked up her paint brushes and rubber chisels to begin her art journey with brilliant resins, oils, acrylics and water colours.

During my high school years, I enjoyed art class but I never really became passionate about painting or drawing until this year. As much as I loved the creative aspect of art I often found my art teachers to be too weird to be taken seriously.

Gaye is a self confessed travel addict and self taught artist. Her first travel adventure in 1971 began in a Kombi van in Melbourne and ended in 1973 in Holland. In that overland trip, she covered thousands of kilometres, sixty four countries, hundreds of photographs and armfuls of exciting memories!
